About Fashion Women Printed Square Scarf Silk Scar
What is a scarf? Classification of scarves
A scarf is a piece of fabric worn around the neck or head for warmth, sun protection, cleanliness, fashion, or to show support for a sports club or team. They can be made of a variety of different materials, such as wool, linen, silk or cotton. It is a common neck ornament.
Scarf products can be divided into: scarves, shawls, scarves, veils According to the material, it can be divided into: silk scarf, knitted scarf, acrylic scarf, linen scarf, wool scarf, cashmere scarf, velvet blended scarf.
What Is A Custom Scarf?
When you send us an invitation for custom scarf orders, we will provide a series of services such as scarf size, fabric, style, pattern, LOGO and packaging according to your design requirements. We will create and produce according to your wishes, as well as meet your other custom scarf-related services.
Scarf fabrics: mainly divided into four categories: animal, plant fiber fabrics, chemical fiber fabrics and blended fabrics. 1. Animal fibers commonly used in scarves are mainly wool, cashmere and silk fabrics. 2. Common plant fiber fabrics include cotton, rayon, bamboo fiber, etc. 3. Polyester and chiffon are common chemical fiber fabrics. 4. Scarf blended fabrics are generally made of silk, cotton and linen blended in a certain proportion.
Advantages and disadvantages of scarf fabric
The wool fabric is comfortable and warm, and the elasticity is also very good. The scarf is easy to recover after deformation, but the phenomenon of hair loss is inevitable. 2. Wearing a cotton scarf is also very comfortable and has a good thermal effect, but it is not resistant to wear and tear. The scarf is easy to leave wrinkles, and dark-colored cotton scarves are easy to fade. 3. Hemp fabrics are more breathable but not very elastic and lack skin-friendly. 4. The biggest advantage of silk scarves is that they are beautiful and smooth, but silk fabrics generally shrink. 5. Polyester and other fabrics have poor air permeability but are easy to take care of.
In spring and autumn, when the weather is cooler, cotton fabrics are preferred, and fabrics such as modal and acrylic are also good. In the hot summer, scarves made of silk or hemp fabrics are more suitable, because these fabrics have better air permeability. In winter, warm fabrics such as wool or cashmere are mainly used.

What is Reactive printing?
Reactive printing is a permanent way of printing on natural fabrics by creating chemical reactions at a cellular level in fibers. It’s a multistep process that involves pretreating fabrics to prepare them for ink, printing digitally with special inks, steaming the fabric to initiate the reaction, and finally washing out excess ink and softening the fabric for use. While it’s not the easiest way to print fabric, reactive printing gives the best results every time in terms of color, softness, usability, and durability.
What are the best fabric type for scarf manufacturing?
For custom printed scarves, if you prefer a more matte fabric, we recommend our crepe de chine or silk twill. We say to opt for twill if you like a more textural or prominent weave.
If you prefer something that has more of a sheen, we recommend our crepe back satin.
If your print design features borders, we advise opting for a CDC or twill. The straight warp and weft properties of these fabrics allow us to manufacture perfectly straight scarves. With bordered artworks, the border is essentially acting as a ruler. So, any deviation in the cloth means that it will be very visible once cut and hemmed.
If you are perhaps after something softer, our cashmere modal works well for larger scarves.
The choice of fabric
You can choose the fabric and thickness you want. Our most popular scarf fabrics are 12 mm silk satin and twill, 14 mm twill, 16 mm satin, and there are other fabrics for you to choose, such as silk GGT, silk chiffon, silk habotai, silk CDC, et. Please tell us which fabric you want to choose.

Silk swatches
Silk swatches of 15x20cm of printed silk can be ordered to help choose among the fabrics and see the print quality.
We print the swatches specifically with hard-to-print designs, mostly photographs. Graphic designs are easier to print and show equally well.
Swatches can be ordered online , and are shipped promptly.
Hems and seams
Our scarves can be rolled by hand or machine-hemmed. Some double-sided models are machine sewn and turned over, then closed by hand.
The choice depends on the fabric, we offer the hem style that best suits each silk type.

How do I send my designs?

What is your minimum order quantity for scarf manufacturing?
For our bespoke scarf manufacturing service, we have a MOQ of 20 units for one design and you can include a mixture of sizes, print designs, and artworks within this quantity.
What is your lead-time for scarf manufacturing?
We pride ourselves on our fast turnaround, from the day that everything is approved and ready to go, we will need around 4 weeks. This is the time we require to prepare the fabric type, print the fabric, cut, hem, and then send it to you. This turnaround time will vary on the size of the order, but it should never exceed 4-5 weeks.
What is the 10% fault rate for scarf orders?
Our 10% fault rate is applied to any scarf order that has panelled artworks as opposed to repeating artworks. If a fault occurs on a panel, the whole panel has to be discarded and reprinted or redone. Unlike a repeat print, where if a small fault occurs it can simply be cut around. Therefore, we will always print 10% over to cover the cost of any potential faults or marks that may arise. If your run is 100% successful, you will receive all of the extra printed panels or finished units.
What seam allowance should I leave if printing panels?
We advise you to add a 1.5cm seam allowance to each edge, so 90cm x 90cm would then become a 93cm x 93cm panel. This will ensure the scarves measure full size at 90cm x 90cm once finished.
