Is the color printed on or woven in? 2.Is it machine washable?
The designs are printed onto challis wool. The designs are clear & sharp, no blurring of edges or colors & the colors are deep & bright & on the obverse slightly lighter. I have not washed mine as yet. When I do I will either hand or machine wash on gentle, cold water, hang to dry. Handle the wet material as little possible, smoothing out any wrinkles that occur. I am a textile collector & think these wraps, especially at the offered price are an exceptional value. I have purchased four, two as gifts and all are beautiful & well made. 1. The color and pattern are printed onto the fabric very nicely. I have the rose red and it is beautiful; even the obverse side is somewhat attractive. 2. It is printed but I still like the quality (and I am a little picky). It is essentially a light challis wool (if you know your fabrics). I have washed it in my washer on cold on the gentle cycle and hung it to dry.

Is this 100% wool or a blend?
