Young Girl Silk Square Scarf in Georgette Texture:
Silk crepe georgette is produced in the same way as lighter georgette (see sheer fabrics section below); it’s a plain weave with twisted crêpe threads. Crêpe georgette, however, is much denser and heavier than ordinary georgette. In lighter colors this fabric is fairly, but not entirely, sheer. It behaves much as the other crêpes do – it drapes rather than floats, so it can carry a whole garment on its own.
Characteristics of silk crepe georgette:
- Drapes well
- Looks good in ruched effects, not suitable for structured garments
- Medium weight
- Matte, pebbled texture – pleasant against the skin
- Lighter shades are sheer – we recommend layering or using a lining
- Sewing demands some skill, but with some patience crêpe georgette is fairly cooperative

This is a very beautiful scarf.
i chose the color white, even though the scarf is not at all white.
The silk is of the best quality.
i have loved silk for very many years and this is the first large silk scarf i own.
Most of the time i've been wearing silk head scarfs.
This Dana XU scarf is a 100% mulberry silk scarf.
it is elegant and very beautiful and the feel is undescribable.
i will enjoy it for very many years.

This silk scarf is beautiful! It is a thin, sheer, delicate, "floaty" silk, with vivid colors (I ordered the "white" option). I do believe it is genuine silk, as claimed. The size is very generous, large enough for me to wear as a wrap, shawl, or even as a sarong (I am 5 foot 7 and weigh 165 pounds for reference). The scarf was packaged very nicely, pressed and folded into a mesh gift bag with a handwritten thank-you note. I love that it folds down so small, so I can easily keep it in my purse for when I need extra warmth/ sun coverage.
Overall, this scarf is gorgeous and I would recommend it.
Does Dana XU provide design collection if We do not have our own design and decided to do Custom Print? Then how can the printing result be ensured?
