Georgette is a very thin, free flowing, soft, loosely woven fabric made of silk yarns/ synthetic yarns. The fabric has a beautiful drape which makes it a designer favourite. It is very similar to chiffon but not as smooth as chiffon. The sandy texture is its most distinctive characteristic, other than its drape. One other difference between chiffon and georgette is that georgette is more opaque than chiffon but just as drapey. Silk Georgette is a beautiful silk fabric.

Lovely, light, large pashmina of genuine silk, giftable

This is a pretty lightweight pashmina. The pattern and color match the listing. It is quite large so i can wear it many ways from a head covering to a scarf to a sheer wrap at the beach or pool. The material feels smooth and silky-soft, and the label says genuine silk. It comes in pretty, giftable packaging, although the included card has a pre-printed note signed by the seller.

The scarf is significant and easy to play with a design for any body shape. The color I order is pastel, and the silk is thin; this is a scarf for summer. The design is beautiful, and the print is perfect. If I need to pack light for a trip, this scarf gives me many options without the bulk. Good quality.
